First Diwali with DD
Left office early on thurday evening. Packed things up and made things ready. Packing for Divya takes much time as it is needed to double check on each and every thing to not to miss anything which is important to be carried for her routine things. Bus is at 10.30 P.M that night and we started quite early as we wont get autos if it is too late.
Bangalore to Karur Journey
Reached KPN office and stayed there for so long.. As usual bus was delayed and came around 11.30. Somehow boarded bus and started our journey. It was a quite bad journey as we got only last seats left for booking. Divya was not comfortable to sleep at all and rather we two. She was having cold and vomited in some time. She became very dull and tired during the journey. As she got used to Bangalore climate she is not able to withstand if the humidity is a little higher. She was sweating like anything. Sankar and me was caring her for the whole night. Somehow managed and reached Karur around 5.30 A.M. Took an auto and reached home. She woke up by that time and started looking at peoples. Sankar's mom and dad was so excited to welcome her and was playing with her. As we were very tired we thought of having a nap and it extended to long sleep.
Friday - The day before Diwali
We woke up by 9 in the morning and got refreshed to have breakfast. We includes only me and Divya. Sankar was damn tired and he slept till 10.30. DD was playing with her grand parents. They got her a walker and she was learning to walk with that. I had a plan of going out for shopping to get some dress for Paapa. We wanted to get her a gold bangle too. It would be very crowded as it was a day before Diwali. Sankar never encourage to go anywhere in crowd with Paapa. Somehow passed the day till evening and we thought of visiting the site which Sankar's parents and uncle have booked for. It was around 6 Kms from Sankar's house and it was a village kind of place in Karur. Sankar was not happy with that place as it was not having a proper road even. He says that the rate is not worth for that area. But those peoples have decided to buy so Sankar has no opinion to say on that. When we were back after site visit it was on the way to Baskar anna(Sankar's uncle) house. We thought of visiting there are it has been very long since we had been to thier home. We went there and my maapilai (Uncle's son) was about to burst crakers. We stayed there for quite while and was with Hemanth for bursting crackers and turned back home. The day was over by that time. Reached home and heard all the stories said by Sankar's Grandma. Sometimes its quite interesting to hear such kind of stories from elderly people. Watched TV for sometime and went to bed early
Saturday - Diwali Day
Early in the morning we could hear crackers sound everywhere. But i was not able to get up as i had tablets for cold and headache last night. It is become quite often that i get head ache nowadays. Rather than saying it to be no time to consult doctor i am quite lazy to go to hospital. Called up mom and dad and wished them for Diwali. They were very perfect that they completed pooja before sunrise. Myself and Sankar was discussing that, after growing up Diwali doesnt seem to be a special function. I still remember my childhood on how i long for Diwali day. My dad used to buy crackers a month before and keep it in the loft. Daily after coming from school i will be longing to open it. Dad will open it the day before Diwali. We will start to burst crackers. I used to go crazy for crackers. I used to get 3 dresses all at a time for Diwali. One for Diwali, one for Birthday and one for New Year. Used to wake up by 4 A.M on Diwali day. Keep oil and do ganga snanam. Will keep all new dress in front of god. Mom would have made enough sweets and murukku. Will make so many dishes that day. As soon as pooja is over will wear the new dress and burst crackers.Nowadays there is no such excitement. We get dresses whenever we need it and not kids anymore to burst crackers. Anyways woke up by around 6.30 A.M. Got ready and pooja was done. The way of doing pooja is different from my home and Sankar's home. Here the custom is different. We got ready to go to Maariyamman temple. Going to temple with Maama is quite easy. We will get good Darshan as he is Deputy Tasildhar we need not stand in queue. We went to Thaanthondrimalai after that. The temple was very crowded as it was puratasi last saturday and it was Diwali. We just remembered on our trip to Thirupathi on third saturday. Even the VIP darshan was damn crowded. We took Divya for the first time to the temple. Sankar insisted to turn back as it was heavily crowded and very hot.We turned back home and had lunch. Decided to go to Chennai silks and it was very unfortunate that when we reached there shop was closed for Diwali. :-( Sankar wanted to buy some crackers which fly to the sky and burst. Brought some and went to buy bangles for Divya. Got local ones. couldnt make out buying bangles in gold this time. As paati insisted us to visit Moorthy anna's house, we had been there and had a long conversation on buying property. Sankar was quite upset after the discussion. Turned back home and burst crackers. Divya was very dare that she didnt get scared for the crackers sound at all. She enjoyed seeing it. The second day was over.
Sunday - Last Day in Karur
Decided to go to thaanthondrimalai temple at least today as we couldnt make it last day. Had a very good darshan in temple. It was so pitiful to see the cows which were there. It should be around 30-40 cows which were there in temple premises. They are the ones which were prayed and are left in temple. It looked very thin and weak. Got some banana's and gave them. Turned back home and waited for Sankar's brother and co sister to come. As they started very late from Coimbatore we decided to move to shopping. Went to chennai Silks got some dress for Divya. Brought her the first shoes. I brought some dresses for me too :-). By the time we reached back home Sankar's brother was there at home. Had a nice meal and watched the movie Maayandi Kudumbathaar. Played with Divya for long time and started packing things to back to Bangalore. Bursted still more crackers with the newly married couples. Firstly they left to Chennai and we started after a while. Waited for long in KPN depot and boarded bus around 11.45.
Karur to Banglaore Journey
We were very tired and sleepy by the time we entered bus. Sankar and me was discussing on things for quite sometime and slept. Spent the whole journey sleeping. Reached Silk Board by 5.30 A.M and entered home around 6. Was worried that the vacation was over soon and need to start to office in some time. :-)
It feels great when we visit relatives and spend good time with them.

Soul Touching Poems
HOW MUCH I CARE U
Never will I understand,
Why my love, denies my hand.
What pain, what suffering have you endured?
With my help, can you be cured?
My thoughts, my dreams, you re always there,
When will you see how much I care?
Such little time I ve spent with you,
Enough to know my love is true.
The further you drift away from me,
The more I feel I ll never be free.
Perhaps I should just let you go,
Your love maybe, I should not know?
My love and friendship is always here,
And if you should ever shed a tear,
My arms are here to hold you tight,
For I will always be your light..
STRENGTH OF LOVE
With but a penny to show love,
Hearts beat stronger than ever.
Delight comes from simplicity,
Despite this rough endeavor.
Money can’t buy lasting love,
What happens when it’s gone?
Talk!?! Have a conversation.
See life as a beautiful swan.
When faced with tough times,
Grasp his hand a bit stronger.
Share delight in each others smile,
Make the nights a little longer.
Life a test with every turn,
War, no longer fought alone,
Suns warmth guides the way,
Away from the combat zone.
If this life’s chiseled you down,
Turn and smile to the one you love.
As long as you have each other,
You’ll reach feats only dreamed of.
WHAT IF U COULD READ MY EYES
Two people can speak through their eyes...
Two souls can meet through the eyes...
It's easy to give answers to questions asked by us...
But impossible to answer the questions asked by eyes!

Trip to Thirupathi
Trip to Chennai
Our plan is to start from bangalore to channai on thursday (Oct 1st night) and reach by Friday morning. We reached chennai around 6 A.M. For the first time i had been to Sankar's brother's house. It was an independent house rented in Perungudi. Waited for Sankar's parents to come. They did reach home in a while and we decided to go to T.Nagar for shopping by 1. Booked two cabs for it. Meanwhile everyone got freshened up and prepared lunch. Had a small nap and finished lunch. Started to T.Nagar. It was after so long travelling in chennai roads. After seeing the Bangalore narrow roads, felt as if Chennai roads were so broad. Reached T.Nagar after 45 mins of travel.
T.Nagar Visit
T.Nagar was very crowded by the time we reached there. I ahd never seen it to be this much crowded. We thought twice before entering the shops. As Kutti ma was with us we were scared to take her in crowd. Entered Pothy's at last. There was no place even to move around. Sankar's decision was to go to Nalli as it was comparitively less crowded. My choice was to go for a designer saree for Diwali. But ended in a cotton silk as usual. Got a saree for Amma and Athai. Divya, appa, athai and maama was waiting outside the shop in a staircase. Atlast finished the shopping and turned abck to place were we are supposed to board bus to Thirupathi
Divya's Condition
Divya couldnt tolerate the chennai climate and humidity. It was so hot that she was crying continuously. Was not having food at all. She was completely dehydrated and looked so tired. Was so worried to see her so. Her face was very dull. It is for this only reason we dont take her outside. As she was not used to the crowd and humidity she was not able to withstand that.
Travel to Thirupathi
As it was puratasi 3rd saturday and it was a full moon day. The day was very auspecious. As we booked as the package tour we thought we wouldt be into much trouble. We reached Thirupathi by 11. We were given a room and was asked to be ready by 2.30. We were so tired but somehow managed to get ready by 2.30 A.M. Started to mel thirupathi from keezh thirupathi. On the way Sankar and Rathi's (Co-Sister) brother got down for mottai. Sankar gave poo mudi and Vishu (Rathi's brother) shaved his head.
Dharshan in Thirupathi
It was much crowded even at that time. We expected that we would be bypassing the crowd and reach early as it was booked in a package. But things were not as expected. It was supposed to be 10 Lakh peoples visited temple on that day so they couldnt set peoples to go in a special queue. All were allowed in the same queue and its a terrible experience. We started to be in queue by 5 A.M.
It is really worried that the most richest and the wealthiest temple in India lacks properly planned and organised route for the divotees to traverse to see the god. There was no proper queue as such and no proper path too. It was like a room after room. People as we all know wanna rush towards the entrance and those who are in the way were getting smashed. It was so pityful to see small baby's screaming in the crowd. I even doubted whether they are to temple for Darshan or on any race.
We were not able to manage the crowd and with the baby it was a worse experience. Here and there many quarrels for not in the queue and things. Divya was totally tired as shecouldnt have proper food and no proper sleep. Somehow managed to reach inside the temple.
It is more than 10 years after which i am visiting Thirupathi. It was full of positive energy when we entered the temple. We could hear the chant "Govinda" everywhere. It was so nice to have Perumal Darshan on that auspecious day. Perumal was so beautiful and we feel like looking all the time. We were pushed out in seconds. The most surprising thing in Thirupathi is we will forget the face of god as soon as we come out. It is said that only then we will try to come again so it happens so.
We all gathered again and started back to Alamelu Mangapuram
Alamelu Mangapuram Visit
By the time we started to Alamelu Mangapuram everyone was so tired and week. We were taken back to the place were we stayed last night for Breakfast. It was too late (11 A.M) when we reached there and nothing was there to eat. Managed to eat something and started to temple.
We boarded the bus by which we came from chennai and started. We reached temple in about 10 minutes and it doesnt take much time for darshan. we were taken in a short route by the guide and somehow we managed to reach back early after a good darshan.
Kaalahasthi Visit
The next temple is Kaalahasthi. It was around 40 KM from Alamelu Mangapuram and everyone slept in bus meantime. The temple was very much crowded. We took a special darshan ticket and had a good darshan on all the gods in the temple. I had been to this place recently before marriage. The Siva Lingam here is very different. It shows the Arthanaareshwarar. It is a very good darshan. we were so tired and hungry.
Return trip to Chennai
Around 3 P.M we were dropped in a hotel. Finished our lunch and started back to chennai. Everyone was fully dehydrated and was feeling thirsty all the time. It was said that we will be reaching Chennai by 7 P.M. Sankar was supposed to attend his friends marriage in Thirupathi and turn back from there to bangalore on Sunday. In the last minute he dropped his plan and started with us to chennai. But the thing is we booked ticket only for myself, mom and dad. we were not sure of getting one more ticket to Bangalore. The return journey went in having a nice nap in bus. By the time we reached Chennai we were in a dilemma whether to go back to brother's home or to start to Bus stand directly. At last decided to go to bus stand as we need to enquire on the one more ticket.
Back to Bangalore
Finished our dinner in a hotel in koyambedu and reached KPN bus stand. We did enquire before itself on the availability of ticket to bangalore and the bus in which we booked ticket was cancelled and we will be shifted to some other bus. When enquired in the bus junction we all were shifted to an AC bus (Thank god!!). It was a tiredsome travel. Somehow managed to get the front seats and took rest. I carried Divya for the whole night. We both were damn tired and reached Bangalore safely that morning. Everyone was rushing to bed after reaching home and had a nice sleep till late morning.
It was a nice trip after a long gap. Though it was very painful. Had a good darshan in all the temples.
Expecting the next trip to Karur for Deepavali.
